Getting Started & Your First Class
You will learn basic stances and simple movements at your own comfortable pace following a light warm-up. There is no experience or sparring expected—our safe environment is simply designed to get you moving and having fun!
Yes, and you should! Your first 2 classes are on us, no strings attached. Sign up online or give us a call to book your visit.
We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled class time. This gives us a chance to tour the facility, introduce you to the instructor, and ensure you are perfectly set up and comfortable before hitting the mat!
For your first 2 trial classes, just bring a water bottle and wear comfortable athletic clothing. We’ll handle everything else. Once you sign up, every new student receives their uniform (called a dobok), so there’s nothing extra to buy to get started. Additional uniforms and any other supplies you need are available at the front desk. We’ll go over all costs with you during your free trial classes.
Honestly? That’s kind of the whole point. Martial Arts is one of the best things for building confidence and coordination in kids regardless of where they’re starting from. Our instructors are experienced working with all kinds of personalities. Shy, awkward, and uncoordinated are all welcome here.

Programs, Style & Curriculum
We offer classes for students as young as 3, all the way through adult programs. Three-year-olds are welcomed on a case-by-case basis to make sure they’re ready for a structured class. Our classes are broken down into age-appropriate groups to ensure the best learning environment.
We specialize in Taekwondo, and we also offer Practical Self-Defense for teens and adults. Each program focuses on discipline, fitness, and real-world safety skills.
We use a structured, step-by-step curriculum that safely guides students from White Belt all the way to Black Belt and beyond. Our programs are tailored by age and experience level to maximize both technical skill and personal growth. Along the way, students learn to live by the tenets of Taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit, building confidence on and off the mat.
Belt testings are held every other month. To be ready, students need to meet two requirements: a minimum number of classes attended, and the skills for their rank, including their pattern (form) and other required techniques. Once a student has met both, we’ll let them and their parents know they’re ready to test. No guessing, no surprises.
There is a testing fee for each promotion, which covers your official rank certificate from our national organization. The fee varies by age group and rank. We believe in complete transparency, so during your free trial classes we’ll go over every cost you could ever have with us, including memberships, testing, uniforms and gear. No hidden fees, ever.
Schedules, Pricing & Memberships
We run classes Monday through Thursday in the evenings and Saturday mornings.
We offer memberships based on how often you’d like to train: once a week, twice a week, or unlimited. During your free trial classes, we’ll go over every option and every cost so you can choose what fits your family best.
No. Our standard membership is month-to-month with no long-term contract. For families who want to save, we also offer 6- and 12-month Prepaid Memberships, paid in full upfront. We’ll walk you through every option during your free trial classes.
Yes, we do! We offer special rates for multiple family members training at our school. Ask at the front desk!
No problem! Make-up classes are available throughout the week. Just speak with an instructor to find a time that works for your schedule.
Life happens! Month-to-month members can cancel or pause at any time by calling or emailing the front desk. Need a month off? We’re happy to pause your membership. Please give us as much notice as possible, ideally before your next billing date, so we can stop the charge in time.
Prepaid Memberships can also be cancelled early. We’ll recalculate the months you’ve used at our standard monthly rate and refund any remaining balance.

Safety, Location & Special Programs
Our school is located at 3150 US-21 Ste 104, Fort Mill, SC 29715. We’re at the intersection of US-21 and Regent Parkway in the Crown Plaza Shopping Center.
Yes, safety is our top priority. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new or have been training for years. Your safety and everyone else’s comes first.
Yes, once students advance. We introduce sparring gear at yellow belt so families know the cost well ahead of time. To make it easier on your budget, you can pay for the gear all at once or split the cost into payments over 3 months. Students need their full set of gear by senior orange belt in order to test for green belt. All sparring gear must be purchased through our school. Our national organization requires specific approved equipment, so gear bought online or from other stores can’t be used in class, at testings, or at tournaments.
We don’t offer an after-school program, but we do offer summer camp and day camps throughout the year. Day camps are a great option when kids are out of school, combining martial arts drills, games, and character-building activities in a fun, supervised setting. Contact us or follow us on Facebook for upcoming dates.
Once students advance, they may also qualify for Winter Camp, a 3-day regional training event for current students who are orange belt or above and at least 8 years old.
We do! Our 90-minute martial arts birthday parties are a blast, complete with a ninja obstacle course, board breaking, and a mini lesson. Best of all, we handle the setup and cleanup. All you have to bring is the cake! Contact us to check available dates!
We observe major holidays and follow local school closures for inclement weather. In the event of a closure or important announcement, we will instantly notify you via email and our social media channels. We recommend opting into text notifications during registration so you never miss a real-time update.
